Darbo, whose premises are located at the heart of Austria's Alpine region, relies on more than 100 years of experience and knowhow of fruit and honey processing. Darbo is the undisputed market leader of the Austrian preserve and honey market.

At 40% of total business activities, the exportation of preserve and honey specialities contributes importantly to the continued growth of the company. The current sales volume is Euro 102,6 million.

The secret of preserves

Darbo's all natural jams are made exclusively from fruit, gelling sugar and lemon juice. The jam is heated and stirred with the greatest care, which helps to retain the natural fruit aroma.

The extraordinarily high fruit content of Darbo preserve ranges from 45% to 70%.

It is not just the taste that makes preserves something special. Just as important is the way it is served. Darbo offers its prime preserves creations in attractive 28g (1oz) minijars, made especially for the hotels.

We offer a free service specifically for your hotel: Darbo minijars with your logo on the lid of each jar.

Further areas of business

In addition to the production of All Natural preserves Darbo also bottles honey, produces high quality fruit and herbal syrups, and supplies the dairy industry with processed fruits. "Fruchtikus", another Darbo innovation, is Austria's first fruit snack to spoon.
